We are seeking a passionate and versatile Social Media Community Manager who will be responsible for managing and engaging with ikeja's online community across various social media platforms. This role involves creating a positive brand image, fostering community engagement, addressing customer queries, and supporting the Social Media Manager in executing on all social media strategies.We are looking for individuals who are self-directed, detail oriented, personable and comfortable with being visible and present on the ground - within the areas you represent.As part of this role, you will have to work closely with the marketing team. As such, your execution of this role will be critical to the implementation of ikeja's marketing strategy - making this an exciting and challenging opportunity to come on board andplay an integral role in the overall performance of ikeja. If you are energised about the prospect of joining ikeja and eager to make a huge impact as a valuable player in our team, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Community EngagementActively engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional mannerFoster a positive community environment and address any issues or concerns raised by followers and/or customersIdentify and nurture relationships with brand advocates and influencersContent ManagementAssist the Social Media Manager in creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content (text, image, video) that aligns with Ikeja's brand voice and strategyMonitor and report on content performance and community feedback to optimize future contentCustomer SupportProvide support and answer customer queries related to products, services, and company informationCollaborate with the Customer Engagement team to resolve issues and ensure a seamless customer experienceCampaign SupportSupport the Social Media Manager in planning and executing social media campaigns. events and initiativesMonitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvementMonitoring and ReportingMonitor social media trends, conversations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for engagement and growthPrepare regular reports on community engagement metrics and social media performanceBrand AdvocacyPromote and maintain a positive brand image by moderating discussions and managing negative feedback or commentsEncourage user-generated content and a high level of engagement in brand-related activitiesEmploy strategies to organically grow ikeja's following and reachRequirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related fieldExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or community managementProven experience in managing all social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)A portfolio of evidence showcasing successful social media campaigns and community managementExperience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for creating and editing visual contentPrevious work experience within or a proven understanding of the landscape of ikeja's market is advantageousSkills and Competencies:Passionate about social media and community engagementHighly responsive and proactive in addressing community needsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse audiencesDetail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high standard of qualityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trendsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyFamiliarity with social media analytics and reporting toolsThe ability to communicate clearly and timeously both with internal and external stakeholdersEffective decision-maker and creative problem solverBenefitsThe opportunity to grow both in your personal and professional capacity - you'll get to work with extremely smart and capable people, who come from all walks of life and career backgroundsFree ikeja internet at your home!
