Responsibilities: Market and Demand analysis by identifying market gaps, trends, competitor analysis and formulating plans to penetrate gaps.Develop portfolio and category strategies that align with the business objectives and key principles.Manage budgets and continuously track spends to ensure they are aligned with sales and finance.Drive the innovation pipeline through extensive sourcing efforts and monitor product life cycles.Achieving sales targets through budget and demand planning.Evaluating business risks and implement adequate plans and strategies to mitigate such risks.Outside the box thinking that ensure product placement and brand equity is not only maintained but enhanced through the marketing mixAssist the marketing team to perform under difficult economical climates and assist the team to find new and innovative ways to be proactive in finding solutions to challenges in the short and long term Negotiations: International trade buying and negotiations with suppliers both locally and internationally.Evaluation and correspondence with local and international suppliers including exclusivity, pricing, guarantee and supplier agreement negotiation.Address out of stocks, quality issues and all other product related aspects with suppliers.Product Development:Launch new products into the market.Managing and growing existing brands within the business.Evaluation and analyses of new products.Attending international sourcing fairs.Manage quality and product improvements.Physically assessing and managing the test process of potential products.Creativity:Shooting of TV Commercials (including copy writing, sourcing of talent, and editing)Packaging designs for new and existing products.All marketing material for existing and new products.Development of product presentations for retail teams to present to interested buyers.
