A Decking company is looking for an outstanding Social Media and Marketing Manager to redefine their online presence, ensuring consistency and impact across platforms. This self-directed role spans social, traditional, and digital marketing, emphasizing brand awareness, sales growth, and customer engagement. They are looking for a dynamic individual to elevate their brand into something truly remarkable.
The ideal candidate is charismatic, proactive, and skilled in marketing luxury brands across diverse platforms
Minimum Requirements:
Marketing related tertiary qualification preferred
3 years' experience within a strategic marketing role
Expertise in a range of design programs including but not limited to
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva (bonus) or similar.
Basic video editing and photography skills will be a bonus
Strong understanding of SEO/ SEM
Presentation and public speaking abilities
Ability to fit into a close-knit "family" style team
Be creative, proactive, interactive and goal orientated
Updating of the website and content.
Improve performance through design and functionality
WordPress, HTML Coding, Google Analytics, Pixel tracking, Site Map Submission/ Updates, Splash Pages etc
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Content Creation – blogs, photo choice, video compilations, reels, stories, posts, arranging photo/video shoots, email content,
Social Content Scheduling for all social platforms
Social Media Advertising – creating and implementing a strategy with the brand messaging in mind, paid and unpaid as well as the community management and managing reviews/ comments.
Basic graphic design abilities to create infographics and relatable imagery for content.
Increase traffic to website, analyse trends and develop new strategies, measure ROI.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
Create and send regular newsletters/ mailers.
Build an online audience through our website and social media – stay up to date with the latest web technology and create brand awareness through website and online channels.
Platforms (available but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, YouTube, MailChimp (or similar)
Branding & Marketing
Be proactive in developing content and media opportunities – visit sites, take photos, form relationships to receive usable content.
Maintain and update all necessary internal and external stationery/signage/displays/marketing and keep in line with brand identity.
Ensure all marketing material relevant, up to date and correspond well with each other like website, social media, brochures etc.
Be available to attend events, host stands, working closely with the sales team.
Build relationships with partners and grow the database of contacts.
Guide business decisions by staying on top of trends.
Establish the company's key communication message and plans to get this message across trade, media, direct customers, public relations, advertising, trade shows, website, social media, and digital marketing.'
