The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations consistently meet and exceed quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Main responsibilities Quality Assurance Oversight: Lead and oversee all aspects of the quality assurance process within the organisation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organisation, implementing strategies to enhance quality and streamline operations. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and development. Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance initiatives, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within existing processes and systems, implementing measures to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including new business, retentions, claims, and customer service, to drive a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation. Minimum requirements Matric Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably within the insurance industry. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices within the insurance industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet set targets, and improve existing processes.
