Accountant / Snr BookkeeperPort Elizabeth Our client an Accounting Firm requires and experienced Accountant/Snr Bookkeeper to manage the team that will handle one of their large clients inhouse bookkeeping/accounting for 30 companies across the world.Experience:Ability to learn or know VAT and Bookkeeping allocations for different counties (eg Germany / Italy / UK etc.
)Bookkeeping/accounting knowledge of imports / exports and foreign currency Good understanding of financial accounting principles as relates to the processing of transactions that will be required in this roleExperience with processing computerised transactions on an ERP system (Xero)Handle the inhouse bookkeeping for 30 companies across the worldAbility to lead a team of 3 to 4 Jnr BookkeepersRequirements:Matric plus 3-year Finance related qualificationMinimum 4 years + experience in bookkeeping/accounting Knowledge of imports / exports and Foreign currency advantageousGood understanding of financial accounting principles as relates to the processing of transactions required in this roleExperience with processing computerised transactions on an ERP systemXero accounting package expert an added advantageAdvanced level of computer literacy - Ms ExcelGood communication skills, good work ethic, able to self drive and self motivateAble to work under instruction but grow the position themselvesAble to go to Germany for at least one month for training
