Duties Include:Analyse policy and loss data for renewalsSubmitting renewal terms and processing policy renewalsLoading, issuing and activating new policiesEndorsements / amendmentsPolicy administration on Cardinal Insurance Management SystemAnalyse new business data, risks and profileNew business quotes, negotiation and follow ups within mandateWeekly reporting to managementWorking with brokers and maintaining broker relationshipsProcurement of new business
QualificationsMeets FAIS Fit & Proper requirements.
Completed RE5.
Skills5 plus years experience in marine insurance.
Own Reliable Transport.
Knowledge on Incoterms, Understands the basics of contracts.
Good geographical knowledge.
Keeps abreast with current affairs affecting various sectors of the marine industry.
Cardinal/CIMS working Knowledge.
