Slitting Machine Operator

Operate Slitting Machine efficiently according to pre-defined production and waste targets.Produce good products that are approved by the quality department and meet the specified quality norms in the job's specification.Identify problems that arise in the machine, communicate the same to the shift in charge, and get it rectified with minimum loss of productive time in coordination with the maintenance team.Maintain machine health, following industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance in the work area while operating the machine.Accountable for maintaining daily input and output reconciliation of consumed RM and produced printed material by the end of the shift.Follow the rules set by plant HR for plant entry & exit and disciplinary acts.Encourage a clean and safe environment.Key Performance Indicators Actual Production vs. set target, monitored daily and monthly. Ensure efficient & rapid make ready.Actual Process Waste vs. set target, ensuring finished products exceed customer expectations.Internal/External quality complaints found in the produced product, monitored daily and monthly.External quality complaints and rejections after sale within the set target norm.Adhere to personal and industrial safety guidelines.Follow QMS and Food Safety Compliance in the department while operating the machine.Learn and train in machine operation with the help of an assigned senior machine operator and under the guidance of the reporting manager within the set timeline, monitored monthly and quarterly.Maintain good relationships with the machine team and the reporting manager.Qualifications Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ITI, with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.Skills Knowledge of mechanical systems.Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.Presentable demeanor.Good and clear communication skills.Additional SkillsFood Safety Management, Health and Safety Compliance, Machine Learning, Machinist, Quality Control.
