Our 97,000 employees operate a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionPerform daily administrative duties on the Laboratory Information Management System (SLIMS):Collect all analysis worksheets from analysts daily and record all analytical results on prescribed report sheets, number and typing of analyses done on the monthly tally sheet, and compute the progressive total for the month to date. Must be conversant with recording methods and personal computer procedures.Perform sample reception and create Job Sheets on SLIMS.Validate jobs on SLIMS and forward job sheets to technical signatories for reporting or to the Quality Coordinator when QC material fails.Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct line manager.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of Administrative experienceGrade 12, with Mathematics and ScienceLaboratory background would be an advantageComputer literate (Microsoft Office)Good communication and interpersonal skillsIntegrityAttention to detailPunctualityKnowledge of Laboratory Quality Management SystemWorks well under pressureExcellent problem-solving skillsMust be flexibleKnowledge of entering data on the SLIMSSpeak, write, and understand English
