Kendrick Recruitment is delighted to present a prestigious opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join a world-class lodge nestled in the heart of the Greater Kruger region. This role offers the perfect blend of luxury hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty.
Position: Housekeeping ManagerLocation: Outskirts of HoedspruitSalary: Competitive, Based on Experience
Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations: Oversee the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Service Excellence: Maintain and exceed the lodge's 5-star service levels, from room preparation to guest interactions.
Stock & Inventory: Manage stock control and ordering to ensure a seamless operational flow.
Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of housekeepers and laundry staff, fostering a positive and productive environment.
Guest Interaction: Communicate effectively with guests and staff, addressing any concerns and ensuring exceptional service.
Event Hosting: Assist with hosting meals and special occasions, ensuring high standards are upheld.
Room Inspections: Conduct room checks, assist with guest check-ins, and ensure memorable guest experiences.
Attention to Detail: Ensure all special requests, room setups, and housekeeping services are executed to perfection.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: Hotel school qualification or equivalent.
Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role within a 5-star game lodge or luxury hospitality environment.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office, Excel) and familiarity with Eres or similar systems.
Driver's License: Valid South African driver's license preferred.
Personal Attributes: Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure with a passion for people and the bush.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional social and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact gracefully with guests and staff.
Additional Qualities: Well-presented, responsible, and willing to work flexible hours to accommodate guest needs.
