Site Supervisor OpportunityA national manufacturer of mobile computerised racking systems has an opportunity for a Site Supervisor with a RED SEAL Electrical qualification with PLC Programming and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience to join their dynamic team in their Cape Town office.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLiaise with clients to maintain and improve service levelsPerform site inspections independently and report findingsDo repairs and maintenance of new and existing systemsManage and plan new installationsRespond to breakdownsTrain and supervise assistants as necessaryTravel outside of Johannesburg on short noticeComplete breakdown and planned work in accordance with a technical job card systemWrite reports following inspectionsDraw up quotesComplete project work in accordance with project schedulesDesired Experience & QualificationRecognisable technical qualifications - RED SEAL ElectricianMinimum 5 years working experience as a RED SEAL ElectricianSolid PLC Programming experience is non-negotiablePLC experience advantageousExperience in fault findingAbility to work unsupervisedProblem-solving abilityPhysically and medically fit to work in cold conditions (-20° Celsius)Ability to work at heightsExperience in reading electrical drawings is advantageousWillingness to work weekends if requiredDiscipline and attention to detailAbility to perform administrative dutiesAbility to work with a diverse cultural mix of peopleValid Code EC or EC1 driver's licenceValid and updated passportClear criminal recordKey attributes:Trustworthy & HonestReliableSober habitsSelf-assuredAbility to work unsupervisedClear, effective and efficient communication skillsTeam playerPackage & RemunerationSalary: R30,000 - R35,000 pm CTC dependent on experience and qualificationsA company van will be available for company use only (e.g., attending callouts, sites, etc.
