Job Title: Site Supervisor Specializations: Mining, Minerals, Industrial, Petrochem Industries Salary: Market related Location: Irene, PTA or Woodmead, JHB Start Date: February 2025 Hire Resolve is seeking a Site Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading Multi-Discipline Engineering Consultants, Service Providers, Project Managers, and Construction Contractors company specializing in Mining, Minerals, Industrial, and Petrochemical industries.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor site safety to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Supervise and direct site staff and contractors to ensure quality work and adherence to schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address any issues or changes on-site.
Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, timesheets, and inventory management.
Ensure that materials, equipment, and personnel are available to meet project needs.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the mining, minerals, industrial, or petrochemical industries.
Strong knowledge of safety management practices and construction processes.
Experience managing large teams and coordinating subcontractors.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Familiarity with local labor and environmental regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites if required.
Knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant certifications in health and safety, project management, or construction management (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, PMP) would be an advantage.
