One of the UK's leading reprocessing food products companies is looking for an efficient and organized individual with the drive to maintain high standards to manage their food processing plant in the North West.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and supervision of all operations, including site production, intake of former food materials, safe storage, and the distribution of finished products.
With your positive outlook, you will play a pivotal role in the efficient running of this site, ensuring the end product meets the highest of standards.
What the role will involve Production team managementSupervising and controlling the production processManagement of products – Handling, storage, preservationOrganisation of planned maintenance and cleaningPlanning and organizing production plansOverseeing daily, weekly, and monthly checksAdhering to Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety for your fellow workersManagement of staff, ensuring training is compliant for their specific rolesControl Budget ExpectationsRequirements Excellent organizational skillsAbility to take ownershipHigh standards of performance and cost controlPrevious experience in a similar role – animal feed/food milling would be advantageousExceptional people management skillsHigh level of literacy and numerical skillsThe successful candidate will be remunerated with an attractive salary and package in line with experience.
