Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer Manager to join our client, a prestigious global manufacturing company. In this key role, you will oversee and coordinate all activities related to industrial maintenance, ensuring that machinery operates safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing and executing corrective and preventive maintenance plans for all industrial systems and machinery. Responsibilities
Develop and update contingency plans for critical equipment to guarantee uninterrupted production.
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, making sure that safety and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
Spot opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance procedures.
Hire, train, and manage maintenance personnel, promoting a team-oriented, productive, and motivating work environment.
Organize and oversee significant maintenance projects, including the installation of new machinery and the upgrading of existing systems.
Oversee contracts with maintenance service providers, evaluating supplier performance to ensure they meet quality and service expectations.
Generate regular reports detailing equipment status, adherence to maintenance schedules, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Introduce continuous improvement methods and advanced technologies to enhance equipment and system performance.
Review and authorize the procurement of equipment, spare parts, and necessary supplies for maintenance tasks.
Keep comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and part replacements.
Work closely with other departments and suppliers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Establish and monitor safety and training initiatives for the maintenance team.
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Carry out performance reviews and create training and professional development programs for maintenance staff.
Oversee the maintenance department's budget, ensuring cost control and optimal use of resources.
Requirements
Engineering Degree (Mechanical / Electrical).
GCC (Government Certificate of Competency).
A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in rail and/or allied heavy engineering industries, ideally in engineering and large site management.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations applicable to heavy machinery.
Proficiency with lifting machinery, lifting tackle, and fall protection equipment.
Strong ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge in the use of maintenance management software (CMMS).
An MBA will be advantageous.
