JOB TITLE: SITE ACCOUNT MANAGER – RUSTENBURG, NORTH-WEST We are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will build and maintain active long-term relationships with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value-adding offering. They will also create a healthy business environment with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts.
This position is mainly located in Rustenburg – North West. TEAM YOU BELONG TO You will join the Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Mining Customers, Engineering and Drawing Office, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Manager, Product Lines, and Product Support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible for delivering improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites.Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants.Build relationships with key people at the site and share leads with the organization.Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward.Focus on after-market business and identify investment/capex opportunities.Plan and have full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site.Seek and coordinate for the best resources and channels for customer-facing activities.Understand customer business and articulate Metso's added value.Drive site sales activities with the cross-organizational site account team.Drive account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap).Maintain and share information on installed base, performance, and shutdown schedules.Orchestrate customer satisfaction surveys and ensure continuous improvement activities.Support Accounts Receivable and payment collections.Be an active member of the MA Key Account/Global Key Account team.WHO YOU ARE Matric (Grade 12).Bachelors' Degree or BTech – Chemical/Process Engineering will be advantageous.Minimum 5 years' experience working on a concentrator plant.Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous.Experience in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment.Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint.Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust.Strong communication skills and a serving leader.WHAT SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS (HARD AND SOFT) ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE?
