This is your invitation to rise above the possible.JOB TITLE: SITE ACCOUNT MANAGER – RUSTENBURG, NORTH-WESTWe are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will build and maintain active long-term relationships with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso's value-adding offering. They will also create a healthy business environment with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts.This position is mainly located in Rustenburg – Northwest, and serving parts Gauteng. You will report to the Sales Manager – Southern Africa Central.TEAM YOU BELONG TOYou will join the Sales Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Mining Customers, Engineering and Drawing Office, Complex Proposals Commercial Team, Project Execution Team, Key Account Managers, Business Development Manager, Product Lines, and Product Support.WHAT YOU WILL DOResponsible for delivering improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites.Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants.Create relationships with key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces.Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward.Focus on after-market business yet identify investment/capex opportunities and convey customer requirements to capex sales.Plan and maintain full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site.Seek and coordinate the best resources and channels to be used for customer-facing activities.Understand customer business and articulate Metso's added value.Drive site sales activities together with the cross-organizational site account team and understand customer's capex and Opex-related decisions and buying timetable.Drive account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site-level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap, and plan).Maintain and share information on installed base, performance, and shutdown schedules and plans.Orchestrate Customer satisfaction surveys and closed-loop activities and ensure continuous improvement activities.Support Accounts Receivable and payment collections.Be an active member of the MA Key Account / Global Key Account team I / A.WHO YOU AREMatric (Grade 12).Bachelor's Degree, BTech – Chemical / Process Engineering or Marketing will be advantageous.Minimum 5 years' experience working in the mining industry.Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous.Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment.Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint.Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust.Strong communication skills and a serving leader.WHAT SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS (HARD AND SOFT) ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE?Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.Good interpersonal, communication, presentation & facilitation skills.Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Team player.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.Prepared to work flexible hours to meet deadlines when required.Willingness to travel into Africa if required.Willingness to learn and continually improve own knowledge base.Driven and independent self-starter focused on meeting or exceeding targets set.Ability to manage own time.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUAn inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life.
