Role Description
Plan and organise labour schedules according to production requirements.
Plant and influence overall production efficiency.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to effectively manage budgets in line with operations.
Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are met across the operations.
Determine products developed and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Oversee Production processes across the operations.
Manage and schedule more than 300 staff per shift.
Must have more than 2 years supervisory experience.
Manage operations and influence production efficiency to meet customer requirements.
Ensure relevant training sessions across the operations.
Deliver results and meet customer expectations.
Develop and review standard operating procedures and make suggestions where necessary.
Manage stakeholders to ensure you deliver an excellent customer experience.
Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Manage damages.
Collaborate with top management to understand objectives and requirements.
Divide responsibilities and tasks across the team to make production more efficient.
Resolve any problems that occur.
Evaluate performances and constantly improve practices.
Ensure that health and safety, quality, and hygiene protocols are upheld.
Uphold the policies and standards of the company.
Ensure that the agreed standards of productivity are met by managing production schedules.
Ensure that effective quality control measures are implemented and enforced.
Staff planning, track competencies of subordinates, and provide leadership, motivation, and development as required.
Consult with People Partner on staff recruitment, disciplinary, performance, training, and termination processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Grade 12/ NQF 4
Essential: Previous Supervisor Experience within the Retail distribution industry
Clear criminal record
Computer literacy
Excellent people management skills
