Duties & Responsibilities PURPOSE: This position exists to assist the site manager to ensure the efficient operation of the plant against set objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES: SAFETY: Maintain FAMP safety policy and procedure requirements.
Promote safety performance.
Do planned task observations.
Conduct safety meetings.
Ensure team members wear PPE.
OPERATIONS: Ensures production targets are met.
Monitors plant performance to obtain optimum production.
Advise on requirements of process spares.
MANAGING THE TEAM: Train and develop team members.
Maintain discipline in the plant.
ADMINISTRATION: Completes all reports regarding safety, production, personnel, quality control, and maintenance.
Completes required ISO documents.
Maintaining staff training records.
Ensure disciplinary records are up to date.
Desired Experience & Qualification QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12/N3 COMPSOC SAMTRAC or equivalent Diploma in Safety Management would be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years' experience in mining/construction as Plant attendant/Junior plant operator/Plant operator.
