Description: Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Officer to join their mining team based in North-West. The SHE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a safe and sustainable work environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions Provide safety training and educational programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance with safety procedures Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures Monitor and analyze safety, health, and environmental data to identify trends and areas for improvement Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations and best practices Serve as the primary contact for government agencies, auditors, and other regulatory bodies regarding safety, health, and environmental compliance Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings and activities Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements: Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Management Certificates in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 or equivalent qualification HIRA Certificate SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent Experience/Exposure on MS Dynamics F&O, Reporting tools: MS Power BI Minimum of 2-3 years experience with SHE Valid Drivers License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career changing move.
