Requirements: At least 12-15 years of professional experience in software development, with a minimum of 7 years in a senior leadership or executive role. Experience in defining and driving engineering strategy, vision, and culture at an organizational level. Hands-on experience with multiple backend programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go, and/or modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex, large-scale software systems. Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and verbal. Skills: Exceptional leadership and executive management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams. Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern infrastructure management. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and understanding of how engineering impacts overall business goals. Nice to have: Experience in presenting technical and business insights to C-level executives and board members. Passion for technical problem-solving through strategy. Proven ability to foster effective collaboration across all engineering departments, including platform and data teams, as well as with cross-functional teams such as product management, design, marketing, and other business units. In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies. Active involvement in the tech community through speaking at conferences, contributing to open source projects, or publishing influential technical articles.
