FCS Head Office – Midrand Reporting to the – General Manager OPS Finance The above position is vacant at FCS Head office, reporting to the General Manager OPS Finance. The overall purpose of this position is managing the day-to-day settlement clerks and to ensure all settlements, funding, client queries etc. are attended to.
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12, Matric certificate or equivalent.Fluent in English and Afrikaans.Computer literate (Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel)Management/Supervisor experienceAdmin/Finance experienceKey Performance Areas: Day-to-Day management of settlement department and settlement staffTrain and develop settlement staffDesign and implement internal controlsParticipate in settlement system improvementsProject management on settlement system changesDocument changes to settlement department SOPsTesting of changes/enhancements to the settlement systemsForecasting and funding of bank accountsTimeous and accurate settlement of client device and cash processing depositsTimeous and accurate settlement of internal settlementsInternal reporting – Daily/MonthlyExternal reporting (to clients) – Daily/MonthlyCompilation of daily and monthly settlement related reconciliationsReview daily settlement reconciliationClient settlement query managementEscalate unresolved settlement queries according to company risk management SOPsEnforce company risk management SOPsRecovery of deposits incorrectly settled to clientsHanding unsuccessful recoveries over for legal collectionsProactive internal stakeholder management to improve customer experienceOther Personality Attributes: AssertivenessStrong analytical skillsAccuracy and attention to detailExcellent problem-solving skillsMust be able to work under pressureCore Competencies: Good communication skillsCustomer focusSelf-developmentTeamworkWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
