Job Description Perform technical and administrative functions within the Treasury Back Office, focusing on accurate and timely management of daily cash flow, foreign exchange transactions, and money market operations.
Key Responsibilities Daily Cashflow Preparation
Generate and prepare the daily cash flow report. Interact directly with business units to fulfil funds requests. Foreign Exchange Preparation
Prepare foreign exchange transaction requests. Confirm all foreign exchange transactions. Settle all foreign exchange transactions. Money Market and Capital Markets
Administer money market and capital markets transaction processes. Administer the confirmation and settlement of all trades. Coordinate and engage with external clients including Interbank and Financial Institutions for trade processing, difference resolutions and expediting processes required for trade settlement. Verify static data and amend information specific to counterparty and own account settlement instructions to ensure processing systems have correct settlement data. Prepare month-end call accounts interest reconciliations. Process call account openings and closures. Treasury Administration
Resolving issues/queries related to the Treasury Back Office. Back-office Documentation management. Maintaining effective Treasury Back Office Internal controls. Daily monitoring of transactions on bank accounts to identify fraud and unauthorized transactions. Support the preparation of both internal and external auditors. Provide required information with ad hoc requests within and outside the business. Key Measurements of Output
Timely and accurate reporting including daily cash flow reporting. Effective foreign exchange transaction processing. Satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders. Implementation of resolutions. Clean Audit. Expertise & Technical Competencies Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent finance or quantitative discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience in treasury and financial markets. In-depth knowledge of LMA standards. Good understanding of the functioning of the money and capital markets. Advanced Excel capabilities. Experience and exposure in working on the following: Confirmation and Settlements process Foreign currency administration Treasury internal controls Cash/liquidity Management Desirable Requirements
Experience working on the following platforms: OnBase (advantage) SWIFT knowledge (advantage) FIS QUANTUM knowledge (advantage) Required Personal Attributes Customer Service Orientation
