Sportsmans Warehouse is looking for a highly motivated SEO/SEM and PPC Specialist who is passionate about all things paid media, SEM and SEO to join the E-commerce department at our Head Office in Cape Town.Reporting to the E-Commerce Executive, this role is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in the B2C e-commerce environment while working at South Africa's leading sports retailer.You must have an appetite for staying on top of the latest tech and digital systems trends and be eager to learn on the fly in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, passion for optimisation and excellent communication and team skills are a must with the ability to work well under pressure on multiple deadlines.Responsibilities Management of SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads accountsImplementation of SEO, PPC strategies according to product, category and campaign objectivesResearching ideas, monitoring trends, and proposing ideasPerform detailed keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities, while continually improving the effectiveness of organic search resultsPreparing detailed reports and providing feedback on the success or failures of strategies, and ideas of where to optimise furtherRequirementsMinimum 2-3 years' experience working at a digital marketing agency and / or in a retail e-commerce business in a SEM and SEO roleRelevant academic background in digital marketing and Google certifications, or related programAdept at managing multiple channels across multiple categoriesSkilled in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, SEMRush and other SEM toolsSkilled in SEO/SEM research, strategy development and implementationSkilled in BI tools such as PowerBI or Google LookerExcellent reporting, copywriting and communications skillsDetail focused, strong problem-solving, analytical and trouble-shooting skillsWell organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlinesAdvantages:Experience with e-commerce in a retail environment would be advantageousA passion for sportsSportsmans Warehouse, a division of the Holdsport Group, is committed to the principles of the Employment Equity Act, and to achieving an equitably representative and diverse workforce.Please apply only via this Indeed AdNB: This position is based at our Head Office in Cape Town and is not remote.
