SENIOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT WORKER x 2Permanent rolesEast London£30,000 – £33,000 per yearFull-time, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per yearJob role:To mentor and support young people in their schools and on their estates that are on the edge of school exclusion, mental health issues or serious youth violence through 1-2-1's, after school positive activities, holiday programmes and residentials.ExperienceMinimum of two years' working with young people on the edge of serious youth violence or poor mental health in a full time paid capacity including:information, advice and guidance1-2-1 mentoringworkshopsManaging safeguarding incidentsExperience of leading youth work sessions and detached workQualificationMinimum Level 3 youth work qualification or equivalent with level 2 in EnglishSkills & AbilitiesAbility to develop relationships within secondary schools with all staff with parents and stakeholders within a community contextAbility to work well in a team and on own initiativeAbility to manage young people in a one-to-one and group settingMUST HAVE AN IN DATE DBSIf interested please send a CV to ****** or call 01924 498184 to discuss.
