Red Box Teachers are currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Behaviour Lead and also a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEND Lead at a wonderful Primary School in East London – E3.

Location: East London – E3

The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with Special Educational Needs including autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs. Experience working in a UK classroom setting and primary school curriculum. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent qualification. Excellent English, Maths and ICT skills. Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans for students. Assist with the development of lesson plans and other instructional materials. Passion for teaching and highly motivated to contribute to school ethos and values while adhering to all school policies. Commitment and flexibility, able to demonstrate resourcefulness and to inspire children to reach their full potential with enthusiasm and dedication. Excellent behaviour management skills and strategies. Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team as well as individually. Excellent work ethic and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to arrange for one.
