Senior Wind Engineer

Job Description A reputable renewable energy firm is currently in search of a Senior Wind Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. Candidates must be experienced in the renewable energy sector specialising in wind energy (wind turbines).

Requirements: BSc: Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering WASP completed courses 5-10 years' experience holding a position as a Wind Engineer Identifying and developing new wind projects Experience in the complete development of project (lifecycle): Site identification, wind measuring campaign, environmental and permitting etc. Experience in leading and management of a team of Engineers Experienced in the meso-scale modelling of wind projects Experienced in wind data analysis, verification and micro-scale modelling of wind turbines Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
