As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering solutions within the mining environment. You'll lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other departments to ensure the integrity and safety of structures such as foundations, processing plants, conveyors, and mining infrastructure. This is a key leadership position, ideal for someone with extensive experience in heavy industry and a deep understanding of structural dynamics.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of structural projects, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory standards. Perform advanced structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability, strength, and durability of mining infrastructure. Manage project teams, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and oversee contractors to ensure project delivery on time and within budget. Conduct structural assessments, risk analysis, and inspections on existing and new structures. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, including ASCE, AISC, and local building regulations. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and leadership within the engineering team. Prepare detailed project documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and senior management. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on heavy industry, mining, or similar sectors. Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD Pro, ANSYS) and design tools. Proficiency in relevant standards and codes (e.g., ASCE, AISC, BS). Demonstrated project management experience, including overseeing teams and contractors. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams. Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
