Please note that this role is for a fixed term and is not permanent.Purpose of the Role:Develop & implement the Annual promotion planning Calendar for the selected category that is aligned with the business objectives and is consistent & integrated across all channels.Success will be described as creating compelling and memorable campaigns, delivering financial objectives of allocated Category, engaging target audience & driving increased penetration, customer loyalty, and basket spend for Category.Deliver financial objectives of allocated store/s in line with category's strategic priorities, meeting deadlines & ensuring minimal errors evident in consumer/rep facing material.Life Cycle Management of Products.Job Description / Key AccountabilitiesDEVELOP ANNUAL PROMOTIONAL PLANCollaborate with various stakeholders across the business to develop a comprehensive Annual Planning Calendar which is aligned with Category strategy, target audience preferences and supporting the overall Brand.Develop & maintain the promotional planning calendar to organise and schedule promotional activities over time, ensuring that promotions are effectively spaced out and aligned to key events and seasonal trends that are relevant to your customer.Track the performance of promotional campaigns using relevant metrics & analytics tools & provide regular reports and insights to the business, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.Adopt an agile approach to promotion planning, where campaigns are launched & iterated upon, based on real-time feedback and performance data, embracing a culture of continuous improvement.Plan, analyse, and optimise space to drive sales, and maximise profitability, while keeping the customer journey at the centre of all decision making.Integrate promotions and communication across multiple channels and touchpoints to create a seamless omnichannel experience for our customers/representatives.Plan innovation in line with Category Strategy and RGM guardrails across all channels to drive customer engagement, increase brand awareness & achieve marketing objectives.Deliver strategic assumptions and key financial KPIs for the Category and when risks are identified, leverage other communication channels, or engage with cross-functional teams and Multi-Channel Planner to ensure increased penetration and basket spend for the category.Ensure where applicable additional resources are available (Pages and Micro's, Trials, Representative Activations, Samples, Representative Training) are leveraged to drive increased Awareness and Sales.INCORPORATE THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY INTO THE PROMOTIONAL PLANUnderstand the different stages of the customer shopping journey to develop targeted and impactful promotional strategies and messaging that effectively engage different customers and drive sales and loyalty.Robust analysis of internal data and external data to gain an understanding of consumer behaviour, preferences, and purchasing patterns that can result in more information.Ensure the right messages/promotions are delivered to the right customer to increase the likelihood of conversion and improve the overall customer experience.Build stronger relationships with sales partners and conduct monthly field visits to gain first-hand insights into customer behaviour, preferences, and shopping behaviour to ensure an offering of a seamless shopping experience to all different consumers/LSM groups.Work Experience3-5 years of Marketing experience in a Store Planning role preferred.Experience in working with senior business stakeholders and managing their expectations in a matrix environment.EducationBCom Marketing degree, IMM Marketing Management Diploma or similar qualification.Skills & CompetenciesRequired to be strategic thinkers, excellent communicators, capable leaders, and leading decision-making in matters related to the allocated store/s and its performance.Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to risk assess situations, strong problem-solving abilities and advise possible solutions.In-depth understanding of Consumer Insights.Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/tasks effectively with a high degree of flexibility within a changing workplace environment and make sound decisions to ensure the ongoing efficient & effective delivery of key deliverables within the role.Proven ability to work independently and take ownership to resolve factors that may influence the delivery of plans.Advanced level of business & commercial acumen.Excellent at collaboration;
