Senior Specialist: Organisational Development (Management Level) - Jhb North Human Resources / Recruitment JHB North, Johannesburg - Gauteng Senior Specialist: Organisational Development (Management Level) Johannesburg North Salary Market Related 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Department/Section: Human Resources/ Organisational Development and Skills Development Overview: The purpose of this role is to develop the organisational design infrastructure that serves as a base for integrated talent management processes.
The incumbent will also be responsible for the development and implementation organisational development and change management tools, processes, and systems that ensure organisational effectiveness is achieved.
Detailed Responsibilities: Organisational Design (30%) - oLead and facilitate organisational design projects by Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of organisational design systems and processes.
oConduct audits on macro and micro structures and recommend changes to make the organisation more efficient.
oDesign and maintain the rules for the organisational structure creation (including a span of control in different functional areas).
oDevelop and maintain job architecture including levels of authority and job families.
oFacilitate focus group sessions for input into the job family competency framework.
oQuality assurance role profiling in support of the HRBPs and business oLease on the evaluations of job positions and provide org design expertise input on assigning the correct optimum salary oConduct organisation design operating model reviews to ensure organisational effectiveness.
Learning & Development (20%): oDesign and align the HRD strategy to the HR strategic objectives in support of talent development interventions.
oWork with leaders on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant employee career development processes aligning with the division's strategic objectives.
oDesign the specification for the learning solution, qualification model and other required interventions oWork with the skills and development team to develop learning material in line with Unit Standard principles, QCTO, and SAQA requirements.
Integrated Talent Management processes (30%) oDevelop strategic talent management initiatives in accordance with the commitments of the Human Resources Management Strategy.
oConduct market benchmarking on talent trends and best practices to develop and/or enhance the talent management model/framework to support the organisations talent strategy.
oGuide management on succession planning.
oDevelop and implement talent frameworks and tools including leadership development in line with the career path progression for all levels.
oFacilitate implementation of a career mobility programme in the organisation.
oDesign best practice talent management programmes that enhance the organisations employee value proposition (EVP).
oEnsure effective and efficient implementation of all talent EXCO deliverables from end-to-end of talent management.
oAnnual review and benchmarking of talent management policies, frameworks, and procedures.
oFacilitate the enhancement of the organisations performance management and development processes (individual and team-based performance processes) to ensure that they remain relevant and support the organisation to achieve its strategic goals.
oChampion strategic initiatives aimed at driving high-performing teams.
oInitiate and/or refine performance management programmes and processes to add value to the business Stakeholder Engagement (20%) oForge key internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
oCollaborate with stakeholders to implement leadership development interventions in line with leadership framework.
oProvide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
oWork with the Internal Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure effective communication and consultation processes and to build staff engagement.
Qualifications and Experience: oRelevant masters degree in human resources/ industrial psychology/ Organisational Development/ Management Administration o8 10 years of proven experience in organisational development, talent management, and performance management.
o8 10 years of proven experience in organisational design, job architecture, i.e.
competency framework, Job families, etc o8 10 years in learning and development, design of learning solution oDemonstrable ability to use of Microsoft Office at an expert level (MS Projects, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & MS Outlook) o8 10 years in South African Skills Development landscape, curriculum development design in line with unit standard principles and requirements o5 + experience in leading organisational development and skills development projects.
