Job Summary The role will manage three individuals within the performance analysis team as well as be the Finance Business Partner for Relationship Banking Advice within A&I. Responsibilities include:
Drive activities necessary to implement the optimal advisor remuneration structure for AIFA. Manage scorecards delivery for all the advice force, as well as Regional, Provincial general managers and National Executives for AIFA. Assist in the formulation of various incentive campaigns aimed at the advice force. Manage monthly reporting processes and the end-to-end planning processes from forecasting thought leadership to planning, monitoring and evaluation throughout the annual financial calendar. Provide business analysis and insights to inform and influence leadership decisions while reducing financial risk. Partner with the CFO and be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including developing forward-thinking analysis and generating management reports. Enable achieving the operational objectives of the business by building agile finance enablement. Co-create, build and run Finance capabilities required for exponential growth and business effectiveness. Key Accountabilities: Partner with leaders to define, optimize and monitor progress on their strategic agenda, short-term and long-term plans and investments. Seek advanced modelling and analysis capability to provide actionable intelligence. Develop finance narratives and insights driving business; build pioneering new propositions. Ensure timely delivery of accurate financial and non-financial management information. Deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly business results for Relationship Banking Advice. Drive stakeholder engagement around month-end, year-end and planning cycles. Integrate the production of regular, high-quality, standardized financial and non-financial reporting. Plan and coordinate all remuneration assessments for the advice force. Manage the short-term incentive calculation and bonus payments for the Advice team. Education: Minimum B-degree (NQF level no.7) Desired Post Graduate Degree (NQF level no.8+) CA (SA) or CIMA or MBA qualification preferred Skills: 5+ years professional financial management experience Experience in business transformation contexts related to exponential business growth Experience in commercial innovation environments Broad Finance including strategic, commercial, legal, risk and operational aspects Ability to build, develop & lead professional level teams Understanding of the financial services sector within a professional business environment Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
