Senior Sous Chef

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Executive Chef in coordinating and supervising all kitchen activities.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Manage food inventory, stock rotation, and ordering processes.
Contribute to menu planning and costing for dishes.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing on-the-job training.
Implement and uphold health and safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with Q-pro or similar audit systems.
Take full charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hotel kitchen as a Sous Chef or similar role.
Strong experience in fine dining, a la carte, and buffet services.
Proven ability to cater for functions up to 500 guests.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
This is a live-out position.
