Senior Sous Chef

Your responsibilities will include menu planning, food preparation, supervision of kitchen staff, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury lodge environment. Culinary qualifications from a recognized institution. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior kitchen staff. Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative, high-quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Knowledge of international cuisines, including game meats and traditional South African dishes, is preferred. Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office suite. Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations.
