Providing input to project plans, scheduling and methodology, you'll be developing cross-functional software products. You'll be working on individual tasks and solving problems.ResponsibilitiesInterfacing with other personnel or team members to finalize requirementsCompleting complex bug fixes, and resolving technical issuesImplementing development processes, coding best practices and code reviewsOperating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholdersTraining entry-level engineers, ensuring that they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their rolesDesigning and working with complex data modelsRequirementsHave a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experienceHave substantial Software Development experienceHave an excellent understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systemsBe expert in development languages, including C, Microsoft SQL Server, C#.net, HTML, CSS and JavaScript with experience in web technologies (Angular, Soap Services (WCF), Rest, MVC) being an additional benefit.Have the ability to work well with internal and external technology resourcesHave good knowledge of test-driven developmentHave an advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization, with various flexible and remote working options available to employees.Working with UsLexisNexis Legal & Professional is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
