"Find your role" The role is the driving force behind our SACM strategy and its mission to continually mature services, ensuring alignment with our transformation goals. You will have the opportunity to redefine our ITSM Configuration, Service Catalogue, Software, Hardware and Licensing Management approaches, working with our partner to tailor them to meet the specific needs of our enterprise and business technology landscape. Your strategic insights will be the catalyst for optimising our service delivery model, contributing directly to operational excellence, efficiency and automation.
As we build our desired future state, your role will be instrumental in defining integrations and data needs. By leading this charge, you'll not only transform our SACM processes but also pave the way for a more interconnected, automated and agile organisation.
The SACM framework will be executed via a federated approach across Technology and via Asda's strategic partner working in close collaboration with and under the direction of Asda SME leads.
Contract Management: Manage a portfolio of contracts and negotiate service-level agreements. Will also plan, coordinate, and supervise activities relating to major contracts.Contract Requirements: Identify contract requirements and write specifications for a large portfolio or area of the business for existing contracts and/or new contracts.External Consultant or Contractor Engagement: Identify the requirement for, and participate in the selection of, external consultants or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary.Business Requirements Identification: Elicit the most-complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.Leadership and Direction: Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these tenets and do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.Policies and Procedures Development: Develop policies, procedures, and related guidelines for an important area of responsibility within a function, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader functional policy framework."Let's find out about you" Managerial Experience: The role requires significant experience leading a holistic SACM practice in a complex matrix environment, plus hands-on subject matter expertise in relation to ITSM process and tooling across each of the in-scope disciplines and indeed across the entire Service Value Chain. It requires deep experience of building and operating CMDB capability in ServiceNow, including data modelling and an appreciation of how ITSM processes integrate and interact with each other.Costing and Budgeting: Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently on costing, budgeting and finance tasks while providing guidance and training to others.Planning and Organizing: Uses expertise to act as organizational authority on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.Action Planning: Applies expertise to act as the organizational authority on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.Contract Management: Acts as the organization's authorities and applies expertise to supervise the construction of assigned properties according to instructions.Policy and Procedures: Uses expertise to act as the organizational authority on developing, monitoring, interpreting and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives."Find your everything at Asda" - bringing brighter living within everyone's reach.
