The school invites applications for the following position:
SENIOR SCHOOL BUSINESS STUDIES AND ACCOUNTING TEACHER Commencement Date: 1 January 2025 Applicants for this position are expected to have an appropriate commerce or business science university degree, must be SACE registered and should have previous IEB experience. A good knowledge of entrepreneurial principles, and experience of teaching in the Cambridge system would be an advantage. Applicants should have the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and a genuine commitment to, and passion for, education inSouth Africa.
The successful candidate must be a dynamic, passionate person who will fully engage with young Senior School students so that they flourish both in the classroom and in other aspectsof their lives.
The successful candidate will be required to teach classes in Business Studies and Accounting in the IEB curriculum. They should be proactive and keep abreast of innovation in economics, accounting and education. This person should be preparedto develop curricula, engage in cross-curricular projects that contribute to building business and entrepreneurial skills inside and outside the classroom.
