Position Overview Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP MM/SD Consultant.
This permanent position is based in Bellville Cape Town and requires onsite presence.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT solutions supporting SAP S/4 Procure to Pay (PTP) and Quote to Cash (Q2C) processes and providing ongoing support and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design and Implementation : Lead the design system configuration testing and delivery of toptier capabilities for the Digital Core program supporting SAP S/4 PTP and Q2C.
Design IT solutions for enterprise operations ensuring alignment with the company s strategic vision.
Business as Usual (BAU) Support : Provide support through Jira incident management ensuring smooth operation and issue resolution.
Client Engagement: Interact with clients at all levels to understand business requirements.
Prepare functional specifications and handle configuration testing migration support and continuous enhancements.
Manage business workshops and interactions for SAP MM and SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution adoption (e.g.
experience with KOFAX).
Problem Solving and Decision Making : Identify assess and solve complex business problems within the area of responsibility.
Exercise decisionmaking latitude and independently determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide enduser support.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience Graduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
SAP MM or SD certification preferred but not mandatory with sufficient experience in the MM domain.
Over 8 years of experience as an SAP MM/SD Consultant including at least 2 endtoend implementation projects and support experience.
Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
Strong procurement and sourcing background.
Proven SAP/4 HANA procurement skills including good issuing and receipting principles.
Proven Q2C skills: Quotation Management Contract Management Sales Order Processing Distribution Billing and Pricing Management.
Ability to work in a Business as Usual (BAU) Run environment.
Proven master data management skills in the procurement area.
