Senior Risk Analyst

Exceptional opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a top asset management team as their Senior Risk Analyst. The ideal candidate will either have current enterprise-wide risk management experience within asset management or broader financial services along with at least 8 – 10 years' experience. Role reports to their Head of Risk and offers great future career development.
Responsibilities: Assist with risk processes (reporting & optimization, assessment, management, identification) for the business including IT risk analysis, identify and assess risk to IT applications.Identify solutions to reduce risks and address control.Understand risks and issues the business may face and put controls in place.Make practical recommendations to improve system control and procedures.Review risk incidents including root cause analysis, rectification assessment, suggest and test design suitability of improvements.Manage risk assessments.Educate staff on risk awareness.Advise on risk management practices and concerns.Stay on top of worldwide best practice and regulations.Liaise with Internal Audit and Compliance Functions, provide assurance assessment of risk management.
