The IIE's Varsity College, Sandton Campus has a vacancy for a Senior Results Co-ordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
SIMS System Set-up and Term Planning
Oversees that all students are mapped to their respective assessment events per module, per intake year and per assessment event, liaising with the Admission Officers to ensure that students that have cancelled or where pre-requisites have not been met, are unmapped from the assessment events.
Responsible for using the National Assessment Schedule to create a Results Tracker for each semester which includes the tracking of ICE submissions and the tracking of the detainment job.
Where CASS applies for entry to the exam, ensure that the running of the detainment job per module and per intake year on SIMS takes place where applicable once all the formative results have been captured.
Management of Results Capture
Ensures that the manual Result Capture Sheets for Deferred Sitting, Exams Sitting 2, Exam Sitting 3 and Discontinuation/Dean's exams are available.
Oversees the tracking of the NQP registered students and ensuring that a separate Result Capture Sheet is generated for these students.
Always ensure that SIMS and the Results Capture Sheets (RCS) are updated should results change due to various factors.
Checking that the results indicated on the assessment scripts or the Grade Centre on the LMS match that of what has been captured on SIMS by the lecturers.
Results Management (Formative)
Responsible for updating and managing the Results Tracker throughout the semester, to ensure the markings deadlines are adhered to.
Ensures that the capture and release of any additional formative sittings marks are completed.
Liaising with the Admissions and Finance team on students that are not registered.
Works proactively with the Customer Relations Officers (CRO's) on student result queries.
Responsible for checking that the ICE results captured by the lecturers on the SIMS have been captured correctly.
Results Management (Summative)
Checking that the results indicated on the summative assessment scripts match that of what has been captured on SIMS by the lecturers.
Responsible for updating and managing the Results Tracker to ensure that summative assessment release dates are met.
Responsible for managing and overseeing the processing of endorsements using the Admission trackers.
Moderation (External and Internal)
Responsible for populating the External Moderation Tracking Grid.
Ensures that the Moderation Control Sheet (MCS) and scripts are attached and assigned to the relevant Central Academic Team (CAT) member.
Managing of Script Viewing and Remarks
Identifies and co-ordinates script viewing requests.
Identifies and co-ordinates re-mark requests.
Metro File Managing of Secure Onsite Storage Facilities
Responsible for the archiving of summative scripts and Portfolios of Evidence (POE's).
Team Support and General
Assists with campus specific projects/events.
Supervises and supports Result Administrators.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 7)
Honours Degree (NQF Level 8) advantageous.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience and 2 years leadership/supervisory experience for external candidates.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday : 08:00 -17:00
