Role purpose
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will manage a client-led proof of concept of the Curo to-be operating environment. The SPM will engage and coordinate with the client-appointed PM.
The project will require coordination, management, risk mitigation, and pro-active communication (verbal and written) to all stakeholders, including the project board. The role will also require close collaboration with project managers from vendor solutions involved in the project.
Specific duties
Accountable for successful project planning, tracking, and delivery.
Facilitating the end-to-end project management process.
Coordinating cross-functional and third-party project resources.
Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts to ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
Ensuring adherence to project management methodology and governance structures.
Providing project management artefacts in accordance with project management methodology.
Working closely with the BA's, IT, and testing team to ensure accurate project delivery.
Oversight and management of Governance processes and forums as required by the project.
Ownership of the Project Governance Framework.
Management of Project Plans.
Chairing Project Steering Committees and Working Groups as required.
Leadership: Manage and motivate the project team to ensure consistent delivery and maintain inter-personal relationships within the team.
Cost management: Pro-actively manage the project budget and act as the first point of escalation for any non-budgeted spend.

Education
Accredited project management qualification such as PMI PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Domain-level knowledge of investment accounting systems.
Knowledge of the Financial Markets and Instruments.
Minimum 5 years project management experience.
Engagement with senior executives in a project management capacity.
