Senior Project Controller

Job Title: Senior Project Controller Location: Botswana, Jwaneng Job Type: 36 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Mining Job Duties: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to timelines and budget Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project data Analyse project data and present reports to senior management Identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery Implement project control tools and techniques to optimise project performance Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Controller or in a similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in project management software Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project control within the mining industry Knowledge and Skills: Advanced knowledge of project management principles and techniques Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Master's degree in Project Management or related field Working Conditions: The role of Senior Project Controller may require occasional travel to project sites and working extended hours to meet project deadlines.
