Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable firm in Cape Town.
This role is perfect for those ready to take a leadership position in quantity surveying with a solid background in managing large-scale projects.
Responsibilities: Manage the entire quantity surveying process from inception to completion on multiple projects.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts with service providers.
Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff.
Requirements BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Quantity Surveying field.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project management.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
