ENERGY ELECTRICITY GENERATIONS AND DISTRIBUTION SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: SERVICE TENDERS AND MAINTENANCE PRACTICES (MV) TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,005,233 TO R1,518,616 PER ANNUM NRG 91/24 BLOEMHOF ELECTRICITY HEAD OFFICE, BELLVILLE Requirements: BEng or BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of five (5) years postgraduate technical experience of which three (3) years should be managerial experience with extensive exposure to Medium Voltage electrical distribution infrastructure, with particular emphasis and knowledge relating to operations and maintenance management ECSA Registered Professional Engineer or Technologist or eligible for registration Network and equipment commissioning and maintenance Knowledge of maintenance policies and standards, reliability centred maintenance practices and maintenance management systems Proficiency in compiling and managing capital budgets. Key performance areas: Conduct the research, introduction and application of new technologies and strategies in the maintenance of the distribution network Conduct and coordinate technical aspects of the supply chain for acquisition of maintenance service providers including prepare and issue technical specifications, evaluation of technical tenders and maintenance and service contract management Maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan for the distribution network and facilitate the implementation of manufacturers technical bulletins Maintain and ensure compliance with work standards set by maintenance and service standards/practices specialist for research, planning, design, project implementation, documentation, record keeping and written communication Liaise with Electricity Services: Infrastructure Management staff, consultants and contractors regarding maintenance requirements including performance of applicable service providers.
