Roles and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership:Take a senior role in the assembly, testing, design, development, and verification of systems, subsystems, testers, and associated hardware/software.Ensure the proper implementation, functionality, and maintenance of prototyping and assembly facilities, including tooling, spares, and stock infrastructure.Process and Quality Management:Maintain company processes in alignment with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other quality standards.Manage stores and stock to ensure proper organization and compliance with relevant standards.Perform incoming inspections of components, verifying quality, authenticity, and documentation in the ERP system.Quality Assurance:Collaborate with the Quality Manager to perform quality inspections on electronic and mechanical components to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.Project Outputs:Contribute to the generation of project deliverables, including design, testing, documentation, and verification artefacts.Additional Responsibilities:Perform support roles and other tasks as required.Minimum RequirementsQualification: B-Tech Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.Experience: 45 years of relevant industry experience.Knowledge: Proficiency with electronic components, PCBs, and soldering.Recommended Skills and ExperienceElectronic production.Electromechanical integration.Electronic testing and integration testing.Product qualification and stress testing.Procurement processes related to production.General SkillsQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new information and environments.Strong team player with the ability to collaborate on large projects.Independent work capability.Excellent problem-solving skills.High standard of communication skills in English, both verbal and written.For more info on the role, please get in touch with Archie Cottingham :
