Job Description
JOB PURPOSE We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with 10-12 years of experience to lead strategic, group-level initiatives at Blue Label Telecoms. This role demands strong product management expertise, a strategic mindset, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior executives, manage a product team, and drive the product strategy to deliver tangible business value in a fast-evolving market
RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership Define and execute product vision aligned with business objectives across various internal squads, subsidiaries and group-level initiatives Transitions team's skillset with the support of the Human Capital Business Partner to enable and support platform and tool adoption per the departmental roadmap in line with strategies defined with CTO Through effective inspirational leadership, facilitate the creation of accountable, full service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all stakeholders. Product Roadmap Ownership Develop, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap to meet dynamic market needs, ensuring work is directionally aligned with business value and company goals. Value Driven Align and prioritize product roadmap based on value case and ROI Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with stakeholders, senior executives, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on product strategies, and ensure smooth execution Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and drive innovation within the product offerings People Management: Indirectly Lead, and mentor, a delivery squad, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment. Stakeholder Engagement Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, progress, and deliverables Risk and Challenge Management: Identify potential challenges and risks, strategize solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of product initiatives Outcome-Driven Approach Focus on delivering value, ensuring that each initiative drives measurable business outcomes and enhances customer satisfaction Job Requirements BEHAVIOUAL COMPETENCIES Business Insight Ensures Accountability Cultivates Innovation Manages Complexity Plans and Aligns Balances Stakeholders Drives Engagement Collaborates Customer Focus Instills Trust Optimizes Work Processes Situational Adaptability Tech Savvy
