Job Description Title: Product Manager Rank: Supervising Associate 3 Overall Years of Experience: 8-12 years Relevant Years of Experience: 5-10 years Product Manager: As part of our growing automation team, we're in search of an experienced product manager to lead our multi-disciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them. You should have proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production — from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.
Position Summary 7-12 years of experience in a similar profile with a strong service delivery background. Own the product vision for your area. Ensure that it aligns with the overall team and company vision. Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build intimate, personal customer relationships. Manage the product roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long-term. Drive entire feature delivery lifecycle: research user needs; write user stories; design and prototype UX; work with engineering to develop, test and deliver an impactful product on time. Develop new opportunities. With your finger on the pulse of the business needs, the users, and the engineering roadmap, you are uniquely positioned to discover and develop new opportunities. Business Case Development: Defines the guidelines for developing business cases for a complex product / set of products. Develops thought leadership and monitors the marketplace for new trends, tools or approaches for business case development. Reviews and ensures that the business case appropriately captures the clients' / business needs and the value add. Defines critical interdependencies across business cases and programs. Identifies critical success factors to help ensure value realization. Structures a value realization capability. Communicates business cases to senior stakeholders. Business Requirements Definition, Analysis and Mapping: Leads comprehensive analyses of requirements for a new or modified product. Consults on various projects as a requirement analysis subject matter expert. Defines requirements gathering, analyses and mapping guidelines, techniques, and frameworks. Leads prioritization and trade-off decisions. Presents a compelling business case for proposed solutions. Demand Analysis: Leads demand analysis activities. Creates demand analysis testing techniques to determine if a product can successfully enter a market. Recommends products/services and techniques to launch based on the results of the demand analysis. Financial & Risk Management: Generates a feasible project plan and budget for senior management's approval. Performs financial analyses; tracks the time and cost of a technology project. Analyzes risk factors; performs financial risk assessment. Essential Leadership DNA - proven ability to excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team. 5-10 years of product management or equivalent experience. Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to deliver on commitments. Bachelor's degree in engineering + MBA would be ideal. Should be able to work with multi-culture global teams and team virtually.
