Job PurposeTo achieve Nedbank Card Acceptance strategic objectives, the Product Manager is responsible for managing the effective and efficient management of Integrated Payment solutions across the acceptance portfolio. This includes responsibility for the end to end profitability of this portfolio, building and maintaining effective working relationships (especially with our PSP partners), managing cost and revenue drivers, compliance, and ensuring clients' expectations are met. Additionally, the Product Manager contributes to a culture of transformation, encourages innovative ideas, and supports business optimization improvements through team engagement.
Job ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain good relationships with our diverse set of PSPs.Manage, evolve and maintain the product CVP to meet rapidly changing market conditions. This includes product business ownership of a development squad (SAFE).Manage end to end product profitability.Maximise revenue and minimise cost drivers.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and member rules.Build and maintain effective working relationships.Build strong stakeholder relationships.Ensure clients' expectations are met to the required standards.Ensure efficient work ethic and achievement of Business Unit strategies and goals.Draft and present monthly business reports to stakeholders.Contribute to a culture of transformation by participating in Nedbank culture building initiatives, business strategy, and CSI.Develop and implement action plans to address issues raised in culture surveys.Create a client service culture. Support implementation of business optimization improvement through team engagement.Encourage team to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge.Adhere to the terms and conditions of employment.Ensure service level agreements are achieved and maintained.Support decision making by gathering and analyzing information from different sources.Essential Qualifications - NQF LevelMatric / Grade 12 / National Senior CertificateAdvanced Diplomas/National 1st DegreesPreferred QualificationEssential CertificationsPreferred CertificationsPASA Advanced Certificate in Electronic PaymentsSAFE certification (Product Owner)Minimum Experience Level5 years experience in product management.
