Minimum Requirements:Grade 12.Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or CIPS.3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement.Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Engineering purchasing is essential.Ability to manage large workloads while meeting customer requirements.Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and excellent written/oral communication skills.Proficiency in conflict management and negotiation.Key Responsibilities:Requesting Quotes and Negotiating Prices.Creating Purchase Orders and Administering Tenders.Reconciling Invoices and Verifying Prices.Assisting with Indirect Purchase Orders.Supporting Marketing with Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.Facilitating inter-departmental relationships to drive overall growth.Purchase engineering spares, raw materials, and production-related items like bottles, cartons, and labels for the site.Follow up daily on orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt.Work with the Production Planner to coordinate direct goods orders.Maintain strong relationships with current suppliers and source new ones for cost-saving.Ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.Collaborate with the Quality Control team to approve new suppliers and materials.Ensure all materials meet company quality requirements.Assist with R&D projects, including packaging or design changes.Coordinate with suppliers to obtain samples and prototypes.Reconcile orders at the end of each month to ensure invoice accuracy.Liaise with Accounts to approve and process payments.Help manage purchase orders for indirect items, such as engineering spares.Align purchasing activities with company goals.Contribute to developing and implementing procurement strategies for better efficiency and cost savings.
