Key Responsibilities:
Mentoring the Merchandise Planning Team to accelerate their development.
Projecting future sales into key categories.
Optimize our planning processes.
Management of the range assortments and replenishment.
Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster.
Qualifications and Experience:
Have a completed National Diploma or Degree in Business Management/ BCom or related studies with majors in Finance, Statistics, Economics or Maths.
Proven working experience as a Merchandise Planner (5 years minimum).
To have displayed a strong entrepreneurial style, i.e. display strong trader mentality.
A strong interest in retail.
Sound knowledge of supply chain processes.
