Senior Payroll Administrator (Sage 300 People) A JSE listed automotive retail conglomerate seeks to employ a Payroll Administrator to join their head office team based in Johannesburg East.Duties will include, but are not limited to:Full payroll functionApplication for Tax DirectivesCompleting Statutory returns and handling of statutory paymentsCompleting IRP501 recons and year-end on EasyfileDealing with staff queriesGarnishees & maintenance OrdersHandling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral fundsCapturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotionsReconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third-party paymentsImporting dataChecking payroll variancesPreparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-endFiling & ScanningEducation Requirements:Completed Matric (Grade 12)Tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll preferredJob Requirements and Skills:4 to 5 years' experience in a full function payroll position is essential (up to salary journals and liaison with finance)Sage 300 People working knowledge ESSENTIALStrong understanding of statutory payments and returnsPayroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essentialProficient in MS packagesDeadline drivenAbility to work in a high pressure, fast paced environmentTeam playerIf this sounds like you; please do not hesitate to apply!
