As a member of the PwC CARS (Capital Advisory and Restructuring Services) team, you will be involved in a variety of restructuring and performance improvement projects across a diverse range of industries and will gain exposure to a wide range of clients.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our growing team to work on high-profile clients experiencing stress/distress to their business model and who require turnaround or transformation with a financial and/or operational restructuring lens, spanning a broad range of industry sectors. You'll provide advice and assistance around restructuring and/or turnaround.
Minimum Requirements: Post graduate degree from a top tier UniversityMinimum 8 - 10 years' strategic work experience within a reputable consulting firmExperience of operational improvement programmes across one or more sectors: engineering, financial services, retail, industrial, consumer, high tech, utilities, logistics, telecoms and energyCompetent with spreadsheets, financial and operational KPIsComfortable with financial analysisTrack record in business developmentProject managementStakeholder engagementResponsibilities: As a talented individual who is encouraged to speak up and challenge conventional thinking, you will work with clients to identify and implement rapid, tactical and sustainable operational restructuring measures. For example, you will advise on:
Independent business reviewsTurnaround strategies, with specific performance intervention measures and targetsStrategic options analysisContingency planning reviewsCost out and EBITDA optimisation initiativesShort-term cash flow reviews and forecasting, helping clients see and control their cash positionsCash levers to smooth cash flow/conserve cashWorking capital improvement plansRestructuring Office services - helping client management develop and implement turnaround programsDeveloping conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, assisting in client presentations and providing implementation assistance as requiredEducation: Degrees/Field of Study required: (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study preferred:
