Datacentrix is Looking for a Senior Network Engineer (ISP Core) responsible to Monitor, maintain, secure and develop local and national core network as well as access/client networks.
Mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize the network for our customers.
Have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.
Your goal will be to establish networks that cater for high uptime customer needs.
Requirements Matric Qualification Experience implementing QoS, PBR, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN Cisco CCNP essential, Mikrotik MTCRE essential, MTCINE preferred Riverbed, Meraki or Fortinet SD-WAN experience essential Basic Linux experience At least 5 years' experience as an ISP network engineer or in network administration and maintenance Valid Drivers Licence Thorough understanding of switching, routing and their related technologies.
BGP, OSPF champion.
TCP/IP, IP Addressing (v4 and v6), CIDR and DNS.
Excellent understanding of Service Provider and Enterprise architecture.
